Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need to have a CSD certification in order to become a CSD Trainer?
- Yes. All applicants are required to hold an active CSP-D certification in order to apply to become a CSD Trainer. A CSD Trainer must also have a CSD offering approved before submitting for A-CSD and have an A-CSD offering approved before submitting for CSP-D, and must hold an A-CSD if applying to instruct A-CSD.
Is there a fee for an application review?
- Yes. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $250.00 USD for each application for each level. The application fee is valid for one calendar year.
We are planning to do a group submission, can we submit our entire application together?
- Each CSD Trainer candidate must submit a unique CSD application per level and be approved individually. Applications to provide A-CSD and/or CSP-D can be co-created or shared, and submitted with written permission. Shared submissions must be submitted by each individual, highlighting what makes that submission unique per Trainer.
How long is the application review process?
- Applications may take up to 30 days to review, but usually application decisions are delivered within 14 business days.
