If you are here to apply for the Agile Coaching Trainer (CSAT) Pilot you are in the right place! The application is now open and the first round pilot participant have been selected. You may still submit an application to be put on the priority waitlist to have a TSA opportunity summer 2025.
You can find the most up-to-date information and resources regarding our Microcredentials on the Product Microsite (MUST be a CST or CSAT to access).
If you are interested in training either a Scrum Alliance microcredential or Community Badge microcredential course, please submit your Intent to Train here. Please review prior microcredential approvals to ensure you are not submitting duplicate course material requests. Each course will have domain expertise prerequisites to qualify to train the relevant course. Trainers who are not currently approved for the prerequisite domain course(s) are not permitted to provide the relevant course until domain approval is earned.
Trainers must submit this intent to train in order to confirm that you have the requisite background and expertise to train the course. If you are approved to provide the microcredential(s), Scrum Alliance will provide you access to the course materials. You must use the required learning materials as designed by the course creator. You may update and adapt the activities in the Facilitator Guide, but please do the following:
- Focus on the Purpose: Each activity includes a purpose statement. Make sure your training addresses these core concepts.
- Cover the Learning Objectives: Guide your students to achieve each learning objective in a way that resonates with your own delivery style.
After approval, there are no additional license fees to train microcredential courses. You, as a Scrum Alliance Trainer, can treat these courses like any other Scrum Alliance course—schedule it, post it on course search, find students, charge what you feel is appropriate.
After you train a course, you will upload the student list to Scrum Alliance so students can receive a microcredential badge. Students also will receive a two-year membership just like any other student who successfully completes a Scrum Alliance course. Current microcredential student upload fees are currently $50 per student. These fees are subject to change as new microcredential courses are added to our portfolio.
For more information, please review our FAQs for Trainers. If you have any questions or feedback about Scrum Alliance microcredentials, including the Community Badge program, please contact the Product Team at productteam@scrumalliance.org.
Scrum Alliance Trainer applications are intended to provide personalized insights into your own experiences and abilities in your own words and style. As such, Scrum Alliance does not permit use of generative artificial intelligence tools to generate your answers to application questions. However, you may use assistive technology to aid in communication, such as grammar checkers, translation tools, and similar software, even if the technology incorporates artificial intelligence. In other words, you must do your own work but may use AI tools to improve it.
