A Scrum Alliance Certified Team Coach® is a Certified Agile Coach (CAC) who works with Scrum teams, stakeholders, and management to improve performance and outcomes. Organizations employ Certified Team Coaches to provide coaching, facilitation, training, mentoring, impediment management, and leadership in support of collaboration, development consistency, and value delivery across one or more teams and departments.
Unlike a ScrumMaster®, a Scrum Alliance Certified Team Coach® can work across multiple teams. And unlike a Certified Enterprise Coach, a Certified Team Coach focuses on a subset of an organization in a project or program, or across multiple teams.
This certification offers a recognized credential to qualified coaches who have experience with many teams or departments and can effectively impact department, project, and program agility.
For questions and inquiries about the CTC application please email coachingcertification@scrumalliance.org.
Scrum Alliance General Application Appeal Process can be found here.
Scrum Alliance strives to be inclusive and accommodating to all candidates. If you require special accommodations for any reason, including disabilities, language or other communication barriers, or other challenges to participating in the Trainer application process, please contact applications@scrumalliance.org with a description of the issue and Scrum Alliance will do our best to work with you to find an acceptable solution.
Scrum Alliance applications are intended to provide personalized insights into your own experiences and abilities in your own words and style. As such, Scrum Alliance does not permit use of generative artificial intelligence tools to generate your answers to application questions. However, you may use assistive technology to aid in communication, such as grammar checkers, translation tools, and similar software, even if the technology incorporates artificial intelligence. In other words, you must do your own work but may use AI tools to improve it.
